About Salt Rock & Stone

How it Began

Everything starts with an idea. My mum wanted to change a print in her room, so we sat down and started looking at designs. As we began our research, we realised we couldn't find what we were looking for, and I knew I could create a design, edit it, and print it to surprise my mum with a new print. With my editing experience and soon-to-be-completed media degree, I began editing with the Adobe Suite and surprised my mum. She was amazed. This prompted us to consider opening an online print shop.

We had this in mind but had no name for it. We did not want to include our names in our brand, but we did want to have something unique and innovative. My mum and I go on daily walks, and we started by looking around to see if any words could be combined. We walked through the woods and came up with "sticks and stones" because we liked the alliteration and also wanted to include the colours "salt and rock," so we combined our ideas and came up with Salt Rock and Stone.

Growing

Through a shared passion for all things interior, my mum and I opened up our own Etsy store with hope to inspire and establish relationships with customers to feature our new trendy prints.

Since October 2021, Salt Rock and Stone has been an online destination dedicated to home fashion. With our ever-growing range of print designs, we've helped a lot of customers add jewellery to their walls throughout the past year. All of our home wall art has been hand-picked to help you create the interior environment of your dreams!

Our goal is to give consumers unique designs, high-quality prints, and prompt and courteous service. Salt Rock and Stone was grown as a desire for a new creative challenge for Gabriella and Andrea, our founders, where there were no limitations and no guidelines to follow other than their own.

We take pride in providing high-quality art and, soon, accessories and all things interior by staying up to date on the latest trends in customised art, regardless of our customers' preferences.

Our style-obsessed duo is always keeping up with the newest home design trends to see what colours and styles are 'in trend'. We also pay attention to what our customers have to say.

Our duo is small, fast-paced, and full of ideas. As a result, we frequently collaborate from the beginning to the end of the process, from choosing colours to naming designs. Our inspiration comes from a variety of sources, but we believe it is our mother and daughter relationship that distinguishes Salt Rock & Stone.
